I moved to Downtown Toms River in 2006 with my wife Sarah and our two kids. Back then, I was already a journeyman roofer with seven years under my belt, working for one of those big corporate outfits that sends crews in from out of state. I watched them charge premium prices, do mediocre work, and vanish before the first rain tested the seal.
In 2009, after a brutal hailstorm swept through our neighborhood, I spent three weekends tarping roofs for neighbors who couldn't get their contractor on the phone. That was the moment I knew I needed to do this differently. I founded Toms River Roofing Pros on one principle: your roofer should be someone who lives on your street.
Today we've completed over 1,200 roofing projects across Toms River. Our crew of 14 all live within metro Toms River. When there's a storm, we're not driving in from another state — we're already checking on our own streets before the rain stops.
